Working location: Indianapolis, IN OR Remote In our team as a Senior Control Software Engineer, you will develop, write, test and document embedded code for safety critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems.
Job Description Job Title: Senior Control Software Engineer Working Pattern: Full-time Working location: Indianapolis, IN OR Remote In our team as a Senior Control Software Engineer, you will develop, write, test and document embedded code for safety critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems. You may be involved at any stage of a project lifecycle from concept development, integrated/component testing through final production release. You'll usually work in project teams with colleagues in other branches of engineering.
- This is a Remote-First position with periodic occasional in-person meetings or travel to the Indianapolis site required. Remote employees will work with their direct manager to determine the cadence of onsite visits. All remote employees must have a secure, high-speed internet connection and an appropriate workspace that complies with applicable information security and confidentiality requirements.

What You Will Be Doing With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Strong development experience
- Experienced in design and development of embedded software solutions
- Experience in software design patterns
- Familiarity with Integration (software/hardware and software/software) and component level testing
- Familiarity on software lifecycle (Design to release)
- Knowledge of software testing framework

- Bachelors degree in STEM discipline with 2+ years Software (traditional and model-base) experience, OR
- Masters degree in STEM discipline with experience in Software OR
- PhD in degree in STEM discipline with experience in Software
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements
- 2+ year of experience in embedded safety critical software engineering
- Use a DO-178 compliant software coding process.
- Control software experience
- Digital logic design experience
- Experience with verification and testing frameworks
