We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of ground-up multifamily construction projects in the Austin market. The PM is responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle-from preconstruction through closeout-ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full project lifecycle including preconstruction, buyout, scheduling, and execution
- Lead project planning, budgeting, contract negotiation, and subcontractor coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact with owners, architects, consultants, and field staff
- Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and pay applications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Work closely with field teams to ensure progress aligns with schedule and quality targets
- Forecast project costs and monitor performance against budget
- Support and mentor Assistant PMs and Project Engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5-10+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction (ground-up required)
- Proven track record managing multifamily projects (wrap, podium, or garden-style)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and project controls
- Proficient with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- OSHA 30, PMP, or similar certification is a plus
