Senior Construction Engineer - Dayton - Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber : Job Details

Lead the development of Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the Ohio DOT, Counties, and local agencies including obtaining pre-qualifications, identifying opportunities, developing responses to Request for Proposals and staff recruitment. Administration and coordination of multiple municipal and Ohio DOT construction projects. Verify the Contractors completed work is in compliance with the contract documents for each project. Schedule and facilitate all necessary project meetings, which may include preconstruction meetings, progress meetings and public meetings, and distribute agendas and meeting minutes for each. Supervise engineers and technicians performing inspection, administration, and documentation for infrastructure projects from pre-bid meeting to contract close-out. Oversee the generation of all project pay estimates, contract modifications, work orders and other generated documents.
