Senior Concierge Ambassador

As a Senior Concierge Ambassador, you will be the first impression to all and will operate the switchboard in addition to being the point of contact for all visitors, making sure guests feel comfortable and secure throughout their visit. Responsible for establishing a welcome, warm, and professional atmosphere for all clients, recruits, customers, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helps to supervise, train, and coach fellow associates.
  • Assists with planning, supporting, and executing special events.
  • Assists with overseeing all catering orders.
  • Helps manage conference space and meeting rooms.
  • Strong understanding of the reservation system.
  • Communicates with all service teams, provides details, standards, and information.
  • Provides a consistent high-level service in all areas to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Trains and mentors staff to deliver Platinum Service in every guest interaction.
  • Adjusts and makes recommendations to processes when areas are not meeting standards.
  • Ensures staff are engaged and involved in individual and team-building programs.
  • Able to build consensus and influence team members to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Exhibits superb organizational skills and can manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Is responsible for reporting maintenance issues and cleanliness issues.
  • Proactively deal with inquiries and requests communicating with the team as needed.
  • Communicates effectively, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communication.
  • Maintains a strong awareness of business activity and communicates all updates with your team.
  • Liaises with the team to ensure the smooth arrival of the host's clients.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and passes on necessary information to colleagues that may arise.
  • Maintains a professional, polite, and considerate manner always.
  • Adheres to uniform and presentation standards as per the dress policy.
  • Adheres to the Company and the Firm's policies and procedures.
  • Abides by all Security policies and procedures, including access restrictions, Fire and Life Safety information.
  • Complies with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual and keeps up to date with new information issued. Familiarize yourself with the site-specific SOPs. Maintain SOPs as 'living' document.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering the Platinum Service Standard in all aspects of the Hospitality function.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of office technology equipment.
  • A good understanding of greeting clientele and the special role of a hospitality ambassador within a corporate environment.
  • Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Act as a role model for staff members and always maintain a professional disposition.
  • Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to achieving excellence, down to the smallest of details.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including MS Office and EMS.
  • Must be able to stand and walk 4 hours in each day

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Requires a minimum of five years' experience in hospitality services including reception, conference, event planning, five-star hotels, airline industry.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
