In this role, you will be responsible for executing the compliance testing plan in accordance with the schedule to evaluate the credit union's adherence to policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Support management in designing testing processes, standards, and templates.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, and conduct risk-based and targeted compliance testing reviews for specific business areas, products, services, and regulations.Conduct business process walkthroughs, document key controls, identify process gaps and control weaknesses, analyze findings, and escalate potential issues promptly.Lead issue vetting meetings, perform root cause analysis, evaluate risk ratings, and ensure appropriate action plans are in place for remediation and tracking.Prepare compliance testing reports that clearly articulate results and provide relevant assessments.Maintain detailed, high-quality work papers according to standards and procedures.Perform QA/QC reviews of peer work papers.Contribute to the evolution of the regulatory compliance testing program and provide input to the testing plan and coverage.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (minimum); Graduate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a compliance tester, auditor, risk management, examiner, or related role.
- In lieu of education, 8 years of relevant experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Typical hiring range: $87,100 - $123,000 annually, based on experience and skills. Additional compensation includes an annual performance bonus.
