Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lender with 10+ years of experience originating and structuring complex real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in relationship-driven lending across various asset classes, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties. Experience in construction financing is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate, underwrite, and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including term, bridge, and construction loans.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, investors, brokers, and other CRE professionals to generate new business.
• Structure and negotiate credit facilities that align with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, loan sizing, and sensitivity analysis.
• Present loan opportunities to the credit committee and shepherd deals through approval and closing processes.
• Monitor loan performance, identify risk factors, and work proactively to mitigate potential issues.
• Stay current on market trends, valuation metrics, and regulatory changes impacting the CRE landscape.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of direct commercial real estate lending experience, preferably within a bank.
• Proven ability to originate and manage a high-quality loan portfolio across various property types.
• Strong background in construction and development financing preferred.
• Exceptional credit analysis, structuring, and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of real estate markets, underwriting principles, and loan documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications a plus.
