Position Overview: Siemens Mobility, Rolling Stock is seeking a professional Senior Commercial Project Manager with a solid track record of being a key commercial support to the project management team for complex, large-scale projects. The Senior Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of Locomotives projects of typically $200M+ in contract value and durations from 4-7 years. Together with the Project Manager, the Senior Commercial Project Manager is responsible for the project execution during all project phases including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, commissioning, customer acceptance, and warranty, with a focus on financial topics. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Managing all commercial and financial matters in the execution of B-projects (Rolling Stock).
  • Being responsible for the P&L of assigned project(s) and ensuring project progress together with the PM.
  • Actively identifying risks and opportunities in your project(s) at an early stage and initiating appropriate action.
  • Ensuring correct accounting by IFRS/FRG within the framework of the monthly and quarterly financial statements, including audit-proof documentation.
  • Preparing timely reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders. To thrive in this role, you have:
    • Having completed a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting/finance.
    • Long-term experience (5+ years) as a certified SCPM in managing complex international projects.
    • Profound knowledge in controlling, accounting, contracts, and claim management.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Full professional proficiency in English (written and oral skills). What will make you stand out:

      • Full proficiency in a second language, preferably German.

Details regarding our benefits can be found here. The pay range for this position is $141,500.00 - $191,500.00 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
