Senior Cloud Technician - DigitalGuru : Job Details

Position Summary: Digital Guru is growing and looking for a Senior Cloud Technician to support and expand our virtual desktop and cloud-hosted environments. This is a senior-level role that will play a key part in shaping the future of our VDI infrastructure and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with platforms such as Citrix, Parallels RAS, and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, and is ready to take ownership of systems, lead projects, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, support, and maintain VDI platforms including Citrix, Parallels RAS, and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Handle Tier 3 support for complex cloud-related issues
• Lead the development and optimization of virtual desktop environments, including image creation and FSLogix setup
• Contribute to building new procedures and internal best practices for VDI and cloud solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams on cloud migrations and technical strategy
• Maintain documentation and promote cloud security standards
• Serve as a technical leader and support team growth through mentorship

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of IT experience, with 3 years or more focused on cloud infrastructure and VDI
• Experience with Citrix, Parallels RAS, Microsoft 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Associate degree required; certifications such as CCA-V, CCP-V, AZ-140, or MS-102 are a plus
• Experience in an MSP environment is preferred

Skills:

• Deep understanding of VDI environments and cloud-hosted systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical leadership ability
• Familiarity with Active Directory, GPOs, and Windows Server
• Clear communicator, organized, and capable of managing projects independently
