We have an immediate, full-time need for a skilled, energetic, and driven Senior Cloud Developer.

Agile5 Technologies is hiring a Cloud Architect to design and implement secure cloud solutions (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) with a strong emphasis on automation using DevSecOps and IaC tools. This role involves analyzing applications for cloud migration, ensuring robust security and availability, and optimizing cloud environments with providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will independently contribute to cloud software development and problem resolution.

Job Duties
  • Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS, with major cloud service providers (i.e., Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, or Google).
  • Implement automation for cloud resources utilizing DevSecOps best practices.
  • Analyze applications and provide recommendations for their migration and deployment into cloud environments.
  • Develop strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premise services.
  • Develop and implement cloud applications.
  • Migrate existing on-premise applications to the cloud.
  • Debug cloud stacks.
  • Manage policies for the use of cloud services.
  • Address requests for new technology related to cloud services.
  • Establish and maintain a secure cloud environment.
  • Ensure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud services.
  • Independently design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.
  • Perform significant research and development efforts or manage programs requiring comprehensive and innovative technical solutions, development, and deployment activities on a private/public cloud solution or a comparable high availability environment.
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Azure ARMs Templates.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for cloud resources.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance and availability.
Security Clearance Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.

Experience Requirements

Requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or a related field, including hands-on work with major cloud providers and infrastructure as code tools. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of DevSecOps, cloud migration, security best practices, and high availability design.

Education Requirements

Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline or equivalent.

Desired Skills / Qualifications

AWS Certified Developer, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer or Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect preferred. Experience navigating government cloud environments and compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, coupled with a strong foundation in cloud security, containerization, scripting, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code. Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools, cloud networking, database services, and Agile methodologies is also highly desired.
