What the day will look like

In this role, you will work closely with the Aon sales team to provide world class customer experience and be part of a best-in-class reinsurance client services team. You will be responsible for all reinsurance premium and pro-rata accounting activities for assigned clients, including Fortune 500 companies. You will manage premium in excess of $50M on behalf of assigned clients and be part of a team that manages over $20B in ceded reserves each year. With the assistance of dedicated mentors you will build and implement your individual career development plan.

What the day will look like
  • Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions, leading consulting projects, and strategic advice to address client needs.
  • Including but not limited to clearing, entering brokers submission for new/renewal clients in FDT system and filing the client submissions and broker documentations to the electronic filing system.
  • Review client submission, prepare formal reinsurance domestic submission and international MRC slip.
  • Oversee electronic filing records by filing quote disclosure documents received from the broker.
  • Manage FacGSM and RI Connect firm order binding process: review and sign binders and send them back to the broker for final review and signature (DocuSign) then send to final version to Reinsurers and Clients.
  • Facilitate collection of policy details (i.e. reinsurers' confirmation to bind coverage and reference number, client's policy number and policy issuing company).
  • Prepare, review and sign Reinsurance Binder, Slip, Evidence of Cover, and Endorsement in FacGSM and then sends to broker for final review and signature.
  • Communicate with and participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements.
  • Create and assist brokers with executive-facing presentations.
  • Collaborate with various supporting teams within our Reinsurance Solution such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording to bring the best of Aon to clients
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Math or similar degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of insurance or reinsurance experience in an accounting, premium, claims, or broker client servicing role.
  • Successful completion of Aon's technical training program or equivalent
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of products, with Excel emphasis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, with strong attention to detail.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 USD. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
