This role is based in any US office, with a requirement to work in-office five days a week to strengthen our culture and drive profitability. Reporting to the VP of Programs Claims in San Antonio, TX, you will oversee third-party claim administrators handling liability and workers' compensation claims, ensuring excellent claims results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure quality work by internal teams and TPAs, acting as the primary contact for assigned programs.
  • Participate in audit and claim review processes.
  • Oversee TPA performance, ensuring compliance and quality, including audits, claim reviews, and performance trends using Power BI reports.
  • Manage new program and TPA implementations.
  • Communicate regularly with actuaries, underwriters, and leadership on program performance.
  • Manage the Program Claims Compliance Specialist, providing leadership, training, and performance oversight.
Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen in insurance operations and profitability.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; insurance designations or additional experience may substitute.
  • At least 7 years of liability and workers' compensation claims experience, with TPA management expertise.
  • Technical expertise in liability and workers' comp policies, claims resolution, and settlement principles.
  • Proven audit, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-project management skills.
  • Leadership qualities, including team building, talent development, and mentoring.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to articulate financial and operational insights to all levels.
Compensation:

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., Chicago and LA: $148,100 - $177,700; NYC: $161,800 - $194,200. Eligible for annual bonus and benefits.
