Expected salary range is $135,000 to $150,000, based on experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

You will be responsible for advanced engineering problem-solving in support of nuclear plant operations, serving as a technical expert and resource for other engineers. With your deep knowledge of functional disciplines and industry codes, you will play a critical role in making informed technical decisions.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Utilize your technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to provide consultation that identifies and resolves equipment and system issues.
  • Take charge of engineering and technical leadership for projects impacting site operations, both short-term and long-term.
  • Perform assigned engineering tasks efficiently, applying sound engineering principles.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adhering to design standards, practices, and codes.
  • Conduct independent research and analyses to support various technical projects and initiatives.
  • Propose new concepts and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce expenses, correct design flaws, and comply with changing codes.
  • Be prepared to undertake additional assignments as required by company policy, including emergency response duties and support for outage activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 7 years of relevant nuclear or engineering experience.
  • Must meet minimum access requirements and favorable medical examinations/testing related to position duties.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
