Senior Civil Project Engineer - Site Design - Bolton & Menk : Job Details

Bolton & Menk is now accepting applications for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Site Design and Landscape Architect team as a Professional Engineer in Iowa. This role involves collaborating on a variety of projects, with an emphasis on sports and athletics, overseeing project planning, development, and completion, and managing client relationships and business development activities.

We seek a licensed engineer with experience in site design, client meetings, and project management from inception to construction. This position can be based in Ames, Cedar Rapids, or Des Moines, Iowa.

You will focus on site development projects, coordinating planning, development, and project completion to ensure client satisfaction, working closely with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including construction observation
• Experience in plan and specification development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
• Ability to develop grading plans
• Stormwater management tools (HydroCAD, P8, MIDS)
• Erosion and Sediment Control
• Storm sewer pipe design
• Experience with client contact and public presentations
