Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead major public infrastructure initiatives, guide land and traffic development projects, and oversee water, wastewater, and stormwater systems that serve a diverse and vibrant community. What You'll Do:

• Direct engineering projects including roads, utilities, water/wastewater systems, traffic engineering, and stormwater management.
• Evaluate and implement innovative materials, methods, and solutions to improve infrastructure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with departments, external consultants, elected officials, and community stakeholders to plan and execute complex public works projects.
• Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers and construction professionals.
• Guide land development reviews, right-of-way permitting, and traffic operations.
• Manage long-term infrastructure planning and compliance efforts.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain Indiana license within 1 year.
• Strong leadership, communication, and public engagement skills.
• Adept in reviewing and designing infrastructure, interpreting municipal codes, and managing complex capital projects.

Preferred Expertise:

• Civil engineering best practices, construction methods, and sustainable design.
• Staff development and operational excellence.
• Familiarity with municipal planning boards and technical committees.
