Job Title: Senior Civil EngineerLocation: NYC OfficeType: Full Time

Salary Range: $125,000 $160,000 (based on experience and NYC-specific expertise)

Key Notes: Immediate need for a senior-level civil engineer in NYC1215+ years of experience requiredMust have strong project management and technical design experienceMust have direct experience working with NYC agencies, permitting, and regulationsProject types: sites, streetscapes & roadways, utilities, stormwater & water resources, aviation, parks, and greenspaces

Responsibilities:Lead and oversee design work for paving, roadway design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, site layout, erosion & sediment controlPrepare conceptual layouts, construction drawings, specifications, design calculations, reports, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, SWPPPs, and stormwater calculationsDeliver high-quality work within budgets and timelinesCoordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, and clientsMentor junior designers and delegate tasksCoordinate with NYC agencies, consultants, contractors, and clientsConduct construction administration and site visitsAttend meetings with multidisciplinary teams and clients

Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Landscape ArchitectureNYS PE strongly preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil3D or MicroStationHydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software preferredExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsDeep familiarity with NYC permitting and construction methods
