Senior Civil Engineer - NYC Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Location: NYC Office Type: Full Time Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000 (based on experience and NYC-specific expertise) Key Notes: • Immediate need for a senior-level civil engineer in NYC • 12-15+ years of experience required • Must have strong project management and technical design experience • Must have direct experience working with NYC agencies, permitting, and regulations • Project types: sites, streetscapes & roadways, utilities, stormwater & water resources, aviation, parks, and greenspaces Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee design work for paving, roadway design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, site layout, erosion & sediment control • Prepare conceptual layouts, construction drawings, specifications, design calculations, reports, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, SWPPPs, and stormwater calculations • Deliver high-quality work within budgets and timelines • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, and clients • Mentor junior designers and delegate tasks • Coordinate with NYC agencies, consultants, contractors, and clients • Conduct construction administration and site visits • Attend meetings with multidisciplinary teams and clients
