Senior Civil Engineer - American Society of Plumbing Engineers : Job Details

This position is responsible for providing professional engineering services to the Public Utilities Department, including, but not limited to, designing, problem-solving, performing construction project management duties, and assisting with citizen concerns. Supervises Public Utilities Engineering Division personnel; assigns and reviews work, sets priorities, resolves conflicts between intent and design; reviews personnel time and leave requests; conducts work performance reviews.

The successful candidate will be licensed as a North Carolina Professional Engineer or an Engineering Intern with the ability to obtain Professional Engineering registration within one year of employment, with experience in the supervision of staff.
