Serving as the subject matter expert on analyses of economic and business processes to support the reporting and budgeting needs of Peoples and the various field operation departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fiscal performance tracking, budget forecasting, and reporting using standard methodologies and tools such as Power BI.
- Analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor effectiveness, ensure data integrity, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply statistical methods and process design standards to implement operational improvements aligned with strategic Gas Operations goals.
- Develop cost/benefit models and financial case studies to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT and field teams to implement new systems and monitor workflow performance.
- Audit internal process controls and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Support standardization of field procedures through analytics and trend analysis.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with field teams, supervisors, and leadership to gather input and drive process improvements.
- Support change management efforts during rollout of new technologies and procedures.
- Represent Gas Operations in cross-functional process development and analytics initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure operational readiness and continuous improvement.

- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Qlik, Excel, SAP, and operational software/database systems.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in business process analysis, operational analytics, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel (~50%) to PNG sites
