Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Sr. Bridge Engineer to join our Bridge and Structures team in Albany, NY!

• Lead technical design and manage staff on bridge projects, including developing work plans, coordinating with other disciplines, performing calculations, modeling, reviews, cost estimates, and developing specifications and construction documents.
• Mentor and develop design staff.
• Participate in updating internal standards and practices.
• Perform quality control on design computations, models, drawings, reports, estimates, and specifications.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, professionals, and contractors.
• Serve as quality coordinator for projects and assist in developing project scopes and fees.
• Represent the company at professional conferences and seminars.
• Possibly sign drawings or reports and serve as Engineer of Record.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 8-15+ years of professional design experience related to bridges or structures.
• P.E. license in New York State or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of NYSDOT, AASHTO, and AREMA codes is a plus.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation: $84,838.18 to $119,502.82 annually, based on qualifications.
