Overview

Senior Brand Manager, Prestige Wine & Champagne at Pernod Ricard. The Sr. Brand Manager will support strategic and brand plan development/implementation and innovation launch plan development and monitoring for the Perrier Jouet, MUMM and Chateau Sainte Marguerite champagne, sparkling and rosé brands. This role requires a general manager mindset and will assist in key projects aimed at two goals: a) build brand equity and b) drive brand performance through long-term profitable growth.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Prowess: Partner with the Brand Director and other Brand Managers, as well as key agencies and cross-functional teams, to drive brand equity and growth through retail programs, brand partnerships and sponsorships, and to develop platforms/executions that maximize business results.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Develop, deliver, and iterate plans continuously with a resourceful and fearless approach, focusing on proving the case for brand expansion.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies, including global brand owners, winemaking, field marketing, sales, consumer insights, marketing enablement, and other departments to build a strong multi-functional team.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Lead analysis and reporting of market and competitor trends to identify business issues and opportunities, in collaboration with divisional teams.
  • Research: Conduct analyses and construct research programs; derive implications to ensure marketing programs meet KPIs and seek to improve existing programming.
  • Competitive Analysis and Implications: Assist with Strategic Brand Review by analyzing category opportunities, consumer targets, innovation opportunities, and activation strategies.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Support the development of national and local programs/strategies with flexible local adaptation; manage asset development, dissemination, and tracking of programs across states, channels, and customers.
  • Manage luxury partnerships and eCommerce partnerships with strategic alignment, negotiating terms and executing plans while preserving brand integrity.
  • Provide oversight of Prestige Brands in Supply Planning & Operations, and Brand Pricing projects to drive commercial accountability.
  • Coordinate key global and national campaigns and special product/innovation projects with BrandCos and stakeholders.
  • Track traditional and digital media strategies, demand territories, occasions, and brand perceptions on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8+ years in a senior level role in CPG, media agency, advertiser, or with key retail customers.
  • Experience managing Prestige, Luxury, or culturally iconic brands with sizable A&P budgets.
  • Experience developing brand strategies grounded in insights and analytics.
  • Experience coordinating with a broad set of stakeholders in matrix organizations and with external agency partners.
  • Experience managing financial and business performance including budget management.
Salary, Location & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $130,680.00 to $163,350.00 (New York, NY). Ranges vary by location; base salaries are determined during the interview process based on experience and responsibilities.
