We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Security Engineer to join our Information Security Division (ISD) Digital Asset Security. The role is based in New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, or Lake Mary, FL, with a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days in the office per week.

In this role, you'll:

• Facilitate discussions on emerging security standards, current risks, and strategies related to Digital Assets.
• Develop and implement security architecture, standards, procedures, and guidelines for Digital Asset security.
• Conduct threat modeling exercises and advise teams on security best practices for Digital Assets.
• Perform secure code reviews for smart contracts and web applications related to Digital Assets.
• Advise on the design and implementation of Digital Asset solutions.
• Analyze security assessments and provide insights and recommendations.
• Recommend actions to mitigate risks and establish security standards.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in blockchain security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in information security or related fields; experience in securities or financial services is a plus.
• At least 5 years in enterprise security, with 3+ years specifically in digital assets and blockchain technology.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of blockchain and DeFi use cases.
• Experience with smart contract development (Solidity) and security auditing.
• Knowledge of cryptography, key management, MPC/SMPC protocols, and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with blockchain forensics, cloud security, infrastructure as code, and secure deployment pipelines.
• Expertise in security architecture across various domains (application, network, cloud, etc.).
• Experience with compliance, risk assessment, and incident response related to digital assets.
