Senior AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator Specialist - Maximus : Job Details

Maximus is excited to welcome a Senior AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator Specialist to our team, focused on managing AWS workloads and ensuring seamless system deployment, security, and compliance. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the integrity and performance of DoD systems on the cloud.

Note: This position is on-site and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage AWS workloads with an emphasis on security and compliance.
• Utilize the AWS Console and CLI to effectively operate, maintain, and troubleshoot systems.
• Provide system administration support for development teams working with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Adhere to the best practices outlined in the AWS Well-Architected Framework to optimize operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in systems administration on both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Proven experience and/or training in managing AWS workloads, Amazon EKS, and supporting development and testing teams.
• IAT Level II certifications are required.
• Kubernetes CKA certification and/or training with at least 2 years of practical experience in containerized platforms.
• At least 3 of the following certifications or training: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Red Hat Certified Engineer. Note that 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for each cert.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate) certification.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable; relevant experience may substitute for education.

Minimum Salary: $105,000.00

Maximum Salary: $205,000.00
