Senior Automation Controls Engineer - Flex : Job Details

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Automation Engineering the Automation (Controls) Engineer role involves maintaining and improving automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications. What a typical day looks like:Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems in manufacturing equipment. Build and design for standardized automation cells and custom automated solutions from scratch for manufacturing. Designing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining PLC software and wiring. Programming PLC's (Allen Bradley), HMIs (Ignition), motion controllers, and Vision systems (Cognex) controls for factory automation equipment. Coordinates project activities with other functional groups such as engineering, operations, and quality to ensure the efficient execution of continuous improvements.
