Senior Associate, Operations - NYC Staffing : Job Details

Our client, a highly successful Wealth Management firm, is looking for a Senior Associate, Operations to help deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth clients by managing and reconciling complex investment accounts with accuracy and efficiency. In this role you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of client investment data and reporting. Using tools like Black Diamond, Fidelity Wealthscape, and Salentica/Salesforce, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of investable assets, reporting workflows, and alternative investment reconciliation. You'll also support cross-functional teams and ensure seamless operational processes across the firm. Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee daily activity in client accounts, including cash flow, trades, and investment income.
• Manage the quarterly and ad-hoc client reporting workflow, collaborating closely with the investment and client relations teams.
• Handle capital calls, redemptions, and distributions related to alternative investments
• Work directly with third-party custodians (e.g., Fidelity) and platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) to reconcile account data and positions.
• Ensure accurate processing of wire transfers and support ad-hoc client operational requests.
• Monitor and resolve reconciliation issues in real-time, maintaining data accuracy across systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 3+ year of experience in investment operations, portfolio accounting or fund accounting
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Black Diamond experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
