Job Overview

The Research Department at Dimensional is crucial for daily operations and long-term strategy development. It produces high-quality research on investments and markets, and leads the development of the firm's investment approach and technology solutions. The Investment Analytics and Data (IAD) team manages investment data and analysis, supporting the investment process across departments.

Role Description

The Portfolio Analytics team within IAD supports the implementation of Dimensional's portfolios. We seek a Senior Associate with expert-level front-end development skills in Angular to support our systems and tools. Success involves improving development processes, delivery pipelines, and actively seeking enhancements. This role can be hybrid or fully remote.

Responsibilities

Enhance the performance, efficiency, and readability of our front-end codebase.

Review architecture, suggest improvements, and help build a technical backlog.

Implement new features and participate in technical design.

Optimize and clean style sheets, node builds, and tests.

Collaborate in coding, participate in reviews and design discussions, and mentor junior members.

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related.
• Experience with Angular and/or React.
• Strong knowledge of CSS features and practices.
• Experience with Material Design and Angular Material.
• Build optimization experience.
• Knowledge of on-premise deployment technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest and experience in investments.
• Expertise with Ivy and Angular Builds.
• UX/UI design knowledge.
• Skills with FIGMA and wireframing.
