ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and publishing proprietary equity research content in designated industry with stock recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell) to institutional buy-side clients.
  • Conducting due diligence and providing industry expertise for capital markets equity transactions, including initiating C-suite corporate access resources to institutional equity clients.
  • Initiating C-suite corporate access resources to institutional clients, including non-deal roadshows, conferences, field trips, bus tours, and conference calls.
  • Conducting independent industry assessments and company-specific research reports.
  • Engaging with corporate client relationships at the highest C-Level (CEO, President, COO, CFO, Director of Strategy, etc.).
  • Level-specific duties include working closely with senior analysts, conducting macro, industry, and company research, building financial models, conducting valuation analyses, formulating investment ideas, and maintaining active communication with clients and company representatives, depending on experience and role requirements.

    Required Qualifications:
    • BA/BS degree
    • Licenses: SIE, Series 7 (or Top Off), Series 63, Series 87, and either Series 86 or a FINRA waiver for CFA II candidates.
    • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or academic study beyond BA/BS.
    • Mastery of financial and accounting concepts, advanced communication skills, and strong analytical and sales skills.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced Degree and/or CFA Designation
    • 6+ years of related work experience
    • Experience in mentoring and coaching

    The annual base salary for this position in New York is $185,000.
