Senior Associate, Budget & Forecasting AnalystLocation(s):RWE Clean Energy, LLCAs aSenior Associate, Budget & Forecasting Analyst within the Distributed Clean Energy (DCE) group, you will support all DCE initiatives. DCE is responsible for the development of all non-utility scale solar, battery storage, and energy efficiency opportunities, to the Community solar, Distributed Energy Resource, Municipal/Co-op, and Commercial and Industrial Markets. The purpose of this position is to work with the DCE staff to manage the financial reporting of the DCE organization including participating in the preparation of the DCE annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates, monthly reconciliation of DCE P&L relative to forecast and coordinating and preparing monthly ELT development pipeline and financial performance reports. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating, validating, and preparing corporate financial risk reports and surety reporting. This position will interface with Controlling, Accounting, and Risk Management organizations on behalf of DCE.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly DCE/ELT performance metrics reportWorking with DCE senior staff, Accounting and Controlling ensure that DCE expense and revenue line items are accurately booked and reported on the Company financial statementsPrepare risk reports for RWECE that reflect DCE requirements including Quarterly Risk Report, Contra G Report, Performance Guarantee ReportParticipate in the development of the DCE annual budget and quarterly forecast updates throughout the yearLiaison between the DCE group and Controlling and Accounting organizationsQualifications:Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysisKnowledge of accrual accounting, and financial, reports and statement analysisStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage internal and external customer relationshipsDemonstrated desire to learn about the Distributed Clean Energy group and the distributed energy markets.Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and TeamsExperience working with SAP accounting softwareStrong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverablesAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a teamMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgroundsResponds well to direction and is coachableDetail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business conceptsPay range:The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $81,200 - $121,800. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
