Senior Assistant I - Advisory
Marsh USA LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the New York, NY office (a telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):
We will count on you to:
- Design, market, and service complex property and casualty insurance programs for global and domestic Chinese clients across various industries, including manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, finance, construction, and real estate.
- Provide administrative and technical support by addressing requests from senior staff, demonstrating cultural competence and understanding of diverse client needs.
- Support the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery to clients.
- Deliver mid-level customer service support to the client group, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Offer analytical and reporting support to the client group, utilizing risk assessment skills and insurance technical proficiency to inform decision-making.
- Assist in special projects and reporting for the client group, leveraging project management and networking abilities to drive successful outcomes.
- Perform new business development and manage client service and retention for all U.S.-based Chinese clients.
What you need to have:
- Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Enterprise Risk Management, or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the position offered, as a Client Advisor, Client Account Representative, or a related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Enterprise Risk Management, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered, as a Client Advisor, Client Account Representative, or a related position. Must have one (1) year (or three [3] years with a Bachelor's) of experience with all of the following:
- Utilizing project management methodologies to lead special projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives while coordinating resources and stakeholders;
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering mid-level customer service support, addressing client inquiries, and resolving issues to achieve a high level of client satisfaction;
- Communicating with and understanding the diverse needs of clients from various backgrounds, facilitating successful interactions and service delivery;
- Generating and analyzing reports related to client accounts and insurance programs, utilizing analytical skills to inform decision-making and improve service delivery processes;
- Executing new business development strategies to attract and retain U.S.-based Chinese clients, leveraging networking abilities and market knowledge to expand the client base.
- The applicable base salary range for this role is $79,602 - $98,900 per year.
- The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
