The Featured Merchant Algorithm (FMA) vision is to provide the world's best offer evaluation experience, ensuring that Amazon customers see the best and most relevant offers – regardless of seller, brand, store, fulfillment channel, or shopping format – for any item at any point in the shopping journey. As the global authority of offer recommendation, we strive to reduce cognitive load of shoppers and drive competition across programs/offers.
We are a team of Scientists, Economists, Engineers, and Designers working together to realize this mission. We operate in a diverse space that includes modeling of customer purchase behavior, advanced simulation, experimentation, evaluation, and compliance. We employ a variety of ML, statistics, reasoning, and econometric techniques.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
