The Senior Analyst, Office of CEO, will play an active role in planning and executing activities to support the Chief of Staff to the CEO - managing board materials and the overall board governance process. This individual is highly organized and detail oriented and will ensure the smooth and efficient execution of supporting the board and its committees. This is achieved primarily by managing the preparation, distribution, and archival of all board-related materials and supporting the overall governance framework. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, discretion, confidentiality, excellent communication skills, and robust customer service skills.

This role would encompass managing the production and delivery of board materials, working with executives and senior leadership to create cohesive and stylized narratives for the company's boards.

The Clearing House (TCH) is a banking association and payments company that is owned by the largest commercial banks in the United States. TCH owns and operates the core payments system infrastructure in the US and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by launching a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system. Qualifications Required:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, especially for C-suite level stakeholders.
  • Extremely strong organizational capabilities, detail oriented, self-motivated, and decision-making skills and able to work on multiple competing high-level priorities at once independently.
  • Discretion when working with sensitive information and materials.
  • Excellent project management and coordination abilities amongst many stakeholders including putting together actionable delivery dates, and working with all stakeholders to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze complex material, interpret key findings, and identify key insights to develop clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong team player that can skillfully collaborate with various departments and senior management.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe products.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business administration, economics or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in corporate governance, financial analysis, communications or risk management in financial services.
  • Specific experience in preparing materials for Boards of Directors or other senior leadership and with board management software (Diligent, BoardVantage).
  • US Payments Market and Industry Knowledge.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provides a wide variety of complex, confidential analytical duties in support of the Chief of Staff to the CEO.
  • Support in the production process and delivery of board materials, delivers documents and presentations that are accurate and high quality and suitable for senior level distribution.
  • Independently compose, research, compile, summarize, and prepares a variety of complex correspondence, reports and documents with extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Conduct iterative reviews of finished materials for completeness and accuracy; ensure documents comply with The Clearing House standards, policies and procedures.
  • Manage board governance software for the delivery of materials and primary admin for governance tasks like managing users and access, uploading/downloading documents, assisting board corporate secretary as required.
  • Manage, influence and communicate with multiple stakeholders and business units to ensure the delivery of timely and cohesive board materials.
  • Execute key responsibilities and tasks for Chief of Staff and broader Executive Leadership Team across The Clearing House.
  • Drive initiatives in collaboration with Executive Leadership Team and CEO by conducting strategic analysis/executing projects/execution of follow-ups.
  • Implement continuous improvement in board governance, operational, organizational, project/delivery related processes.
  • Manage risk control assessment processes as related to board management and governance.

Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Employees in this position will report to the office 3 days per week. Occasional travel may be required. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
