A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a Senior AI Architect to lead innovative AI initiatives. This role focuses on expanding access to justice and enhancing service delivery through AI solutions. About the Opportunity:

• Designing and implementing AI systems to support legal services.
• Leading AI/ML system architecture and integration.
• Developing and deploying secure, ethical AI solutions.
• Establishing AI governance and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML systems.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• Experience leading technical teams for 2+ years.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Understanding of LLMs and natural language processing.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms and MLOps.
• Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI principles.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in legal technology or public interest tech.
• Knowledge of legal domain concepts.
• Familiarity with AI ethics rules.
• Experience with multilingual NLP systems.
