Clinical Care Innovation Specialist

Plans, organizes, and evaluates the data for care innovation in clinical settings. Plans, develops, and executes business development and innovation initiatives to support strategic goals and objectives of the area. Provides clinical expertise, close medical communication, and quality assessment for the successful overall patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advises clinical care group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
  • Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
  • Develops goals and initiatives to promote service excellence for patients and clinicians.
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and/or the expansion of services; recommends improvements and strategies; implements approved enhancements.
  • Provides feedback to executives, and participates in creation of action plans to enhance patient experience and clinician satisfaction.
  • Oversees the maintenance, analysis, and reporting of data regarding performance indicators.
  • Initiates, organizes, analyzes, and reports on quality improvement metrics to support improvements in patient outcomes.
  • Provides ongoing evaluation and modification of after hour and weekend patient care, and recommends changes, as necessary.
  • Develops and leverages strategic business relationships and networking opportunities with entities including but not limited to, physicians, medical/group practices, business leaders, and community-based organizations, to generate new referral source relationships.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required.
  • Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). The salary range for this position is $112,800-$197,200/year.
