Job Summary The Senior Administrative Assistant is a key member of the Anheuser-Busch School of Business at Harris-Stowe State University, supporting its mission to deliver exceptional business education and drive institutional impact. As the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, this role requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and strategic administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Senior Administrative Assistant ensures operational excellence through effective coordination, communication, and execution of administrative and customer service functions. Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the School of Business and diverse constituencies including students, faculty, staff, alumni, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
- Manage the Dean's calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and anticipating scheduling needs.
- Coordinate and execute high-profile events, meetings, and special projects that advance the School's visibility and impact.
- Monitor and manage the School's budget and office expenditures; prepare accurate and timely financial reports and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee and streamline travel arrangements, contracts, and reimbursements for faculty and leadership.
- Draft, edit, and prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations, and proposals that reflect the School's standards of excellence.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking key projects, deliverables, and milestones to support the School's goals.
- Provide first-line support for student inquiries and concerns, fostering a welcoming and solutions-oriented experience.
- Identify opportunities to enhance administrative processes, implement efficiency improvements, and leverage technology to support office operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary education required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in higher education or a comparable fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination, event planning, and budget management.

Physical Requirements
