Senior Accounting Manager - Elca Cloud Services : Job Details

For our office in Pully, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager.

YOUR ROLE

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team.
• Develop and implement risk matrix and internal controls system.
• Implement and review harmonized accounting processes across the group.
• Guarantee quality and compliance of accounting policies and procedures with Swiss GAAP FER.
• Coordinate and supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings for the group and subsidiaries.
• Liaise with the CFO and executive team to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Ensure consolidation of financial statements for the group.

Operational Accounting

• Oversee all general ledger functions including AP, AR, payroll, tax.
• Manage intercompany transactions.
• Support audit and ensure statutory compliance.
• Review Financial Statements and ensure Swiss GAAP Fer compliance.

Tax & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with Swiss tax laws (VAT, corporate tax, withholding, etc.) and social security obligations.
• Oversee tax filings.

Systems & Process Optimization

• Drive efficiency in accounting workflows (process and system optimization).
• Review internal processes and suggest improvements.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Hire, train, and mentor accounting staff.
• Serve as the point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with HR, IT, and legal departments.

YOUR PROFILEExperience

• Expertise Comptable or Fiducaire.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss tax law.
• Experience in group accounting and consolidation.

Experience with Oracle ERP system is plus.Skills

• Fluent in French and English (Spanish is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
