- Seeking highly skilled and experienced Accounting Consultants to independently manage and execute complex accounting processes across a diverse range of corporate accounting functions. This role requires advanced expertise in US GAAP and IFRS, with a focus on ensuring SOX compliance, driving process excellence, and conducting in-depth financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and execute complex accounting processes across diverse corporate accounting functions, including leases (ASC 842), debt, equity, and intercompany transactions.
- Apply advanced US GAAP and IFRS principles to various corporate accounting areas, providing expert interpretations and guidance.
- Take full ownership and accountability for the timely and accurate completion of critical portions of the monthly and quarterly close process.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOX requirements related to corporate accounting processes, designing and maintaining sophisticated internal controls.
- Identify, develop, and implement advanced strategies to streamline complex corporate accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risks.
- Conduct highly detailed analysis of corporate balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing expert insights to support financial reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with teams such as Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Audit to ensure accurate accounting for complex corporate transactions and balances.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CA certification
- Progressive accounting experience with deep expertise across various corporate accounting functions
- Advanced understanding and practical application of complex US GAAP and IFRS principles
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL)
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and execute multiple complex accounting tasks and meet critical deadlines
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SEC filings
- Experience in large companies or large private companies and public accounting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $105.00/hr.
