Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Shared Services to support enterprise-wide accounting processes across Apogee's multiple business units and locations. This role provides accounting leadership for fixed assets, leases, and select other shared-service-accounting functions, serving the entire Apogee enterprise—not just a single business segment.
This is more than just an accounting job. You'll own the execution and improvement of how a public company delivers accounting services across diverse business units, systems, and geographies. You'll collaborate with colleagues in BU finance, operations, project management, and the Corporate office. You will have visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape the processes that drive Apogee's financial operations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and internal controls, paired with a continuous improvement mindset. You should be comfortable working independently, communicating across teams, and finding ways to standardize and streamline accounting processes across a complex enterprise.
