Senior Accountant - System One : Job Details

Senior Accountant Location: Cranberry Township, PA Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 Direct Hire About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and supporting compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, exceptional analytical skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Maintain accurate accounting records and perform financial analysis Prepare tax filings including sales/use tax, property tax, and corporate income tax Reconcile bank statements and support cash flow management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external audits Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and irregularities Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system upgrades Enter project labor data into SAP Qualifications 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles Proficiency with SAP Business One (SQL and Crystal Reports a plus) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Leadership capabilities with a results-driven mindset Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.S.B.A. in Accounting preferred) M1 Ref: 282-Eng Pgh
