Senior Accountant
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, support financial reporting, and contribute to financial planning in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role works closely with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, billing, general ledger, inventory, and cost accounting
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process and ensure timely financial reporting
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes; analyze variances and present insights to leadership
- Prepare and file financial data for regulatory, tax, and licensing compliance
- Monitor and support compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial regulations
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable, and manage payment cycles to vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support audits and ensure readiness for internal and external financial reviews
- Provide financial guidance on cost control, pricing analysis, and margin improvement
- Evaluate trends and support cross-departmental projects that drive efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and mentor accounting team members; set goals and streamline processes for better performance
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, preferably CPA designation
- 5+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably manufacturing environment
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with D365 and ERP platforms
