Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting
- Manage invoice verification, payment processing, data entry, vendor communication, report preparation, and related tasks
- Conduct bank reconciliations, review general ledger, post adjusting entries, maintain balance sheet schedules, generate financial statements, and manage closing activities
- Analyze financial data, prepare income statements, explain variances, and adjust forecasts as necessary
- Handle tax documentation, form issuance, report generation, record maintenance, and document filing
- Identify accounting process improvements, assist in system updates, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, escalate issues to management, and support organizational goals
Qualifications for Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and general ledger functions
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-Finance teams
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and ERP systems
- Proficiency in Dynamics NAV preferred
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong discipline, attention to detail, and adherence to company standards
- Effective time management, proactive coordination, and teamwork abilities
