• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required
• Three plus years of advanced accounting experience required

• Demonstrates a high-level understanding of GAAP especially in the areas of Loans, Allowance for Credit Losses, Leases and Investments
• Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Analysis, Bank Reconciliation, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Financial Closes, Advanced Excel, Accounting Software

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
• Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
• Prepares complex balance sheets, income statements and other financial reports
• Maintains investment accounting system and related reporting
• Responsible for overall accuracy of certain general ledger accounts and operational processes
• Prepares and/or reviews financial reports for management
• Acts as the primary contact with secondary loan partners. Investigates discrepancies and records/reconciles purchased loan portfolios and related transactions to the general ledger.
• May assume a team lead role for the work group
• Primary lead for preparation of regulatory reports including 5300 Call Report, FR2900 Report, 945 Tax return, sales taxes, and other financial reports
• Recommends process improvements
• Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $73,000 - $88,100 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
