Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting compliance efforts, and contributing to the company's financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This position comes at a pivotal time, as LG NanoH2O is undergoing a strategic carve-out and is expected to become a standalone company under a new parent organization by Q4 2025. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting this transition and ensuring financial continuity and compliance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to support internal and external reporting requirements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, manage receivables, and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships.
• Input, verify, and maintain accurate financial data across accounting systems and tools.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Support the preparation and tracking of budgets; monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from headquarters, vendors, and internal departments.
• May include responsibilities related to payroll processing, tax filings, or other specialized accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience; CPA certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
