Senior Accountant - Isabella Bank : Job Details

Position Title: Senior Accountant Reports To: Accounting Manager General Purpose: Performs a wide variety of accounting duties. Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports for management and the Board of Directors
• Reconcile general ledger and internal deposit accounts
• Prepare accounting entries
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statements
• Maintain a detailed record of fixed assets
• Operate various accounting models
• Review accounts payable to ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
• Write reports using report writing software
• Perform data analysis
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets
• Prepare and assist in the filing of regulatory reports
• Assist with the staff training and development
• Assist with the development and compliance of policies, procedures and internal controls
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
• Provide flexibility with work schedule as needed
• Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications: Education/Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience required
• Previous financial institution experience preferred
