Senior Accountant - PEG Staffing : Job Details

Company Overview: PEG Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in need of a talented Senior Accountant. Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Budgeting
• Oversee the accounting for fixed assets, including recording acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and impairment.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
• Conduct periodic reconciliations of fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper capitalization and classification of fixed assets. Capital Expenditures Reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including responding to inquiries and providing documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting
• GAAP understanding and experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a close nit environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
