Senior Accountant

About the Company and Opportunity:

• The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Director of Finance.

Overview of the Senior Accountant position:

• Reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and perform month-end close
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses, develop consolidated reporting packages for multiple entities
• Support external auditors and tax preparators, prepare reports and analysis as needed
• Assist with ERP upgrades, implement new software, train peers and act as peer resource for accounting systems

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum two years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Sage, Paylocity, or a major ERP
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP
• Highly organized, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
