Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions and contributing to the strategic financial goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support financial decision-making and resolve accounting issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
• Assist with audits and tax filings as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is a plus.
