Senior Accountant (Cost Accounting) - Olin Chemicals : Job Details

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Salary: $99,000 - $129,000

Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

Relocation Available

The Senior Accountant (Cost Accounting) is responsible for managing the controlling aspects of cost of sales, including raw materials, yield, M&E spending, productivity capital expenditures, and working capital such as inventory. You will also perform professional accounting work involving the compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data, applying standard accounting techniques to classify and record financial transactions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's Degree preferred; CMA or CPA certifications preferred.
• At least 6 years of related cost accounting experience, including knowledge of GAAP, SOX, general ledger systems, auditing, and public accounting.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other enterprise systems preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, ability to drive results, collaborate, manage complexity, problem-solve, and communicate effectively.
