This is a unique opportunity to join a start-up within Amazon Ads and play a strategic role in building the future of Local Advertising. As a key member of our Local Ads team, you will manage high-impact local relationships and help create a new revenue stream for Amazon Ads. You will join a rapidly growing, evolving organization where versatility and collaboration are essential. You should be able to think strategically and act tactically, using your business acumen and experience in digital advertising sales to help partners grow and scale revenue. You will enjoy solving complex problems, working effectively with cross-functional teams, and thriving in a dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities
Establish and foster relationships with local/regional advertisers and their agencies to drive advertising investment with Amazon.Build relationships by establishing local ads expertise, providing insights, and guiding customers to meet marketing objectives.Act as the primary owner for your region, maintaining consistent messaging and delivery of Amazon Ads narratives, focusing on STV/Video products.Manage your assigned book of business in Salesforce, owning the quota.Conduct virtual and in-person meetings demonstrating expertise and understanding of customer goals and industry trends.Create value for Amazon with local agencies while delivering immediate results.Set goals, inform decisions, and design scalable, long-term solutions aligned with shared objectives.Use an entrepreneurial mindset to solve complex problems with tailored solutions.Advise managers and senior leaders on business strategy.Drive innovation by incorporating customer feedback to improve policies, processes, and products.Identify ways to simplify team practices while meeting customer expectations.Collaborate with marketing and product teams on local strategies for digital media growth.Oversee the pre- and post-sale processes to ensure customer satisfaction and results.Travel up to 50% as needed.Basic qualifications
- 6+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience in account management and selling digital media
- Proven experience in Streaming TV sales and/or business development
- Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, AdTech, and Product teams
- Ability to handle customer objections and suggest solutions to maximize partnerships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex topics clearly
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in data use
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

- Consistently closing sales and generating revenue
- High-level negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience with prospecting and cold calling

- Experience managing agency partnerships
