Job DescriptionJob Summary The Senior Account Director is responsible for leading the strategic and operational management of a client's geographically dispersed real estate portfolio. This role serves as a key partner to the client's Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team, ensuring that Newmark's service delivery aligns with the client's evolving business goals. The Senior Account Director leads the Account Team supporting the Occupier Solutions (OS) contract, ensuring performance excellence, continuous improvement, and long-term client satisfaction. Success in this role requires a combination of executive-level relationship management, cross-functional leadership, and an ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective real estate solutions. ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement account-specific policies, processes, and performance standards to support efficient service delivery and reduce occupancy costs.
- Drive process improvements across real estate transaction management, facility operations, and related functions.
- Collaborate with the client's CRE leaders and business units to shape and execute strategic real estate plans that support business objectives.
- Lead efforts related to transitioning in-house real estate functions to Newmark, ensuring smooth integration and service continuity.
- Contribute to new business opportunities through proposal development, client presentations, and representing Newmark in competitive pursuits.
- Partner with the Account Leader and OS Transition Services to support account onboarding and contract negotiation activities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Newmark, client CRE leadership, and key business stakeholders across regions.
- Oversee all account service lines including Transaction Management, Financial Analysis, Lease Administration, Facility Management, Project Management, and Consulting.
- Manage portfolio-level reporting and analytics, including performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategic objectives.
- Support the development of the client's annual real estate budget and long-range financial planning.
- Oversee the end-to-end project process, including requirements gathering, financial modeling, business case development, and execution oversight.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of Annual Strategic Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and regular performance updates.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of corporate or commercial real estate experience, ideally managing large, complex, and global portfolios.
- Strong understanding of transaction structures, legal/financial frameworks, and risk mitigation in real estate.
- Familiarity with facility operations, service delivery models, and performance measurement.
- Experience in international contracting, vendor management, and outsourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in executive client relationship management and team leadership.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and reporting skills; strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Salary: $220,000 - $235,000 annually The expected base salary for this position ranges from $220,000 to $235,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
