DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Semi Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining the buildings and grounds at the Southwestern Veterans' Center. You will care for buildings and surrounding grounds by performing minor masonry and patching, preventative equipment maintenance, landscaping and mulching, and snow removal. You will also assist with carpentry and plumbing functions. This role requires the ability to determine proper work methods and procedures to complete assignments efficiently. In addition, you will paint interior and exterior areas, operate mechanized and motorized equipment, and assist other trades employees as necessary.
