VIZ Media, the world leader in English-language versions of manga and anime (Japanese comics and animation), is looking for a highly motivated and organized SEM Paid Media Associate to join our team. The SEM Paid Media Associate will be responsible for executing on paid media campaigns for VIZ Medias marketing team across a variety of channels; primarily Google Ads and Amazon Ads. Responsibilities include: building and launching campaigns, budget management, and drafting ad copy.

• Develop, execute, and monitor paid media campaigns on SEM and paid social platforms such as Google, Amazon, and others
• Write and test effective ad copy with a focus on driving clicks and conversions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Social Media, Consumer Acquisition, and Product Marketing on marketing needs
• Analyze and report on campaign performance based on established KPIs
• Communicate with external representatives from paid media platforms
• Monitor the latest trends and changes in SEM and the digital industry

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience working on paid SEM campaigns with a proven track record of driving results
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with past experience creating marketing copy
• Familiarity with online media, mobile advertising and content management systems
• Professional communication skills, capable of engaging with a culturally diverse range of clients, providers, and staff
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, with a record that demonstrates suitable preparation for this position

• Familiarity working with licensed content/products
• Experience working at a marketing agency
• Experience working with 4- to 6-figure paid media campaign budgets
• Passion for anime and manga

Location: The SEM Paid Media Associate position is open to candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area or remote candidates within California, Oregon, Texas, or New York. If working remotely, the SEM Paid Media Associate should expect to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area a few times a year.

Schedule: This is a Regular Full-Time 40 hour per week position with core hours of 10 am to 4 pm Pacific Time, with some flexibility in schedule outside of core hours.

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience, with additional variable compensation
